Engineering
Senior Specialized Engineer
Must have a working knowledge of Federal (including Department of Energy Orders), State, and Local codes and standards applicable to specialized (nuclear or other areas) engineering design.
Responsibilities:
-
Conduct construction document reviews as required.

Plan, organize, and coordinate ‘specialized engineering’ and multi-disciplined team/design projects while engaged in the planning, design and construction phases of engineering projects.

Prepare and review of calculations, drawings, and specifications.

Experience in renovating/modifying existing facilities is required.

Familiarity with MicroStation computer aided drafting applications is required.
Education and Experience:
-
Bachelor of Science in ‘Specialized Field’ with a minimum of 10 years’ experience in design, estimating, specification preparation, construction document preparation, related phases of engineering, and field experience in the inspection of construction projects.

Nevada Professional Engineer License or ability to obtain through alternate state reciprocity, if required for ‘Specialized Field’.

Duration:

One (1) year from the date of award with the option to extend for one (1) year period.

Travel Requirements:
-
Candidates should expect up to 100% travel, dependent upon candidate’s location. This position fulfills a staff augmentation contract at the client's site.

​Clearance Requirements:

Preferred, but not required.

Work Hours:
-
A 40-hour work week is schedule. Each workday has a 30-minute lunch break (unpaid). Overtime may be required as necessary.
