Must have a working knowledge of Federal (including Department of Energy Orders), State, and Local codes and standards applicable to engineering procurement.
Develop and generate purchase requests, and have a thorough knowledge and understanding of the requirements for commercial grade dedication.
Demonstrated knowledge and experience in material and equipment receipt inspection, certificates of conformance, and certified material test reports (CMTRs).
Plan and coordinate independent work requiring judgment, initiative, and experience in the application and adaptation of design and construction procurement responsibilities.
Education and Experience:
Bachelor of Science in an Engineering discipline with a minimum of 5 or more years of related project engineering experience in design, estimating, specification preparation, construction document preparation, related phases of engineering, and field experience.
One (1) year from the date of award with the option to extend for one (1) year period.
Candidates should expect up to 100% travel, dependent upon candidate’s location. This position fulfills a staff augmentation contract at the client's site.
Preferred, but not required.
A 40-hour work week is schedule. Each workday has a 30-minute lunch break (unpaid). Overtime may be required as necessary.
